Omega releases new Seamaster Planet Ocean watch

Since its birth in 2005, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch has enjoyed high praise in terms of professional diving functions, appearance design style, and innovative coaxial technology. In 2011, Omega comprehensively upgraded the entire Seamaster Planet Ocean family. Like every previous Planet Ocean watch, the new model is equipped with a one-way rotating bezel and a helium escape valve. It is waterproof to a depth of 600 meters, allowing you to explore the underwater world with you at any time.

Each new Seamaster Planet Ocean watch is equipped with Omega's own coaxial movement and silicon hairspring, which performs accurately and reliably. Therefore, Omega provides a 4-year after-sales service guarantee for each watch in this series.

As one of the star watches of Omega’s new Planet Ocean series, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5 mm titanium and Liquidmetal chronograph is unique in that it achieves an extraordinary combination of different materials.

The case is 45.5 mm in diameter and made of grade 5 titanium. Grade 5 titanium is an alloy made by adding small amounts of aluminum and vanadium to extremely lightweight titanium, making it extremely hard. This titanium alloy can be polished to a brighter shine than other grades of titanium. The scales and numbers on the bright blue ceramic bezel are made of Liquidmetal alloy, which is mainly zirconium. In 2009, Omega released a limited edition Seamaster model with a black ceramic dial and Liquidmetal alloy, becoming the first watchmaker to use ceramic and this unique alloy. In this year’s newly released Planet Ocean model, blue ceramic and Liquidmetal alloy are used together for the first time, achieving another world first. These two innovative materials are strong and durable, giving the watch a timeless appearance.

This model features a blue lacquered dial for a striking visual effect. This exceptional watch features a blue integrated rubber strap that perfectly matches the blue ceramic bezel. A titanium bracelet is also available.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5 mm titanium and Liquidmetal chronograph is equipped with the Omega Coaxial 9300 movement, which is the first movement with a chronograph function in the Omega self-produced coaxial movement family. This movement is equipped with Si 14 silicon hairspring and enjoys a 4-year after-sales service guarantee.

Recently, on the picturesque Italian island of Capri, OMEGA launched its fully upgraded Seamaster Planet Ocean watch, attracting many media from around the world.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm chronograph watch is equipped with the unique Omega Coaxial 9300 movement, which is the first chronograph movement in the revolutionary Omega self-produced coaxial movement family.

This longitudinal chronograph model creatively places the 12-hour chronograph hand and the 60-minute chronograph hand on the small dial at 3 o'clock. This familiar arrangement of hands is similar to the arrangement of hour and minute hands on the main dial, making reading time more intuitive. It also has a central chronograph seconds hand and a small seconds hand at 9 o'clock. The two timing control buttons can perform their functions completely independently, thus avoiding risks to the timing system caused by improper operation.

Like other Omega self-produced coaxial movements, the 9300 movement is also decorated with a decorative pattern called "Arabesque Geneva pattern".

This movement has a time zone function, and the hour hand can be adjusted independently without stopping, making it very suitable for travelers.
